14U Falls to West Virginia, Plays Virginia on Saturday

14U led most of the way but fell 9-6 in a heartbreaker late to West Virginia in Southeast Regional play Friday night.

Elijah Bonner threw 5 innings, allowing only 1 run and recording 6 strikeouts. Aidan Ferguson and Sebastian Debourg recorded multiple hits on the night. Dylan Acevedo and Knox Goodman each added a double.

Murfreesboro will play Virginia in an elimination game Saturday at 12:00 Eastern.
