14U Eliminates Virginia, Stays Alive!

14U wins 10-4 over Virginia in an elimination game in the Southeast Regional play on Saturday!

This is Murfreesboro's second ever regional game victory and first since 2009.

Lincoln Simmons went 5 and 2/3 innings on the mound, giving up only 1 run and 2 hits to get the win. Murfreesboro piled up 10 hits on the day and continued to extend the lead throughout the game. Aidan Ferguson, Lincoln Simmons, and Sebastian Debourg all had multiple hits.

Murfreesboro will play host Virginia-Bridgewater in an elimination game Sunday at 12:00 Eastern. With a win, Murfreesboro would come back and play again at 6:00 Eastern on Sunday evening.
